What is QC Green Awards?

The QC Green Awards recognizes organizations across Quezon City — barangays, schools, hospitals, businesses, youth groups, NGOs, and more — that are doing outstanding work in disaster resilience or climate action. Winners receive a cash grant, a trophy, and a platform to share what they’ve learned with the rest of the city.
What are the Resilient and Green Categories?
The competition has two main categories:

Resilient Category: This includes awards for Sangguniang Kabataan Councils, Youth Organizations, Barangays, Businesses, Hospitals, Schools, Non-Governmental Organizations or Civil Society Organizations, and People’s Organizations based on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management best practices and project proposals.

Green Category: This includes awards for Sangguniang Kabataan Councils, Youth Organizations, Barangays, Businesses, Hospitals, Schools, Non-Governmental Organizations or Civil Society Organizations, and People’s Organizations based on Local Climate Change Action Plan Pillars.

How can I join?

Fill out the entry form online at greenawards.quezoncity.gov.ph or download and email it to entry.greenawards@quezoncity.gov.ph. Walk-in submissions are also accepted at the QCDRRMO and CCESD offices during business hours.

We recommend attending Orientation Day first — it’s free, open to all, and will walk you through everything step by step.

Entries are accepted from [START DATE] to [DEADLINE DATE, 2026]. Previous winners are welcome to re-enter with an improved or updated initiative.
What is the judging process for the QC Green Awards?

Step 1 — Application Review:
The QCGA team reviews all submitted entries for completeness, eligibility, and how well each initiative fits the scoring criteria. Top entries from each subtheme advance to the next round.

Step 2 — Field Validation:
Our team visits shortlisted organizations to see your work firsthand. Bring any supporting documents — photos, reports, or records — that show your initiative in action.

Step 3 — Judges’ Presentation:
Finalists present to an expert panel. You’ll share what your organization has already done and what you’re planning next. Presentation slots are confirmed at least one week in advance.
